The rise of the UK arm of one of the world’s largest chain manufacturers, is a testament to British entrepreneurial spirit and exceptional chain products. Led by Bob Wellsbury whose career spans over 40 years supported by a close-knit team who clock up more than 100 years’ experience, Donghua Limited continues to grow year on year.

The company is located in Wolverhampton, and in recent years moved to larger premises tripling its warehouse capacity to 25,000 sq ft, whilst adding further technical capabilities to its chain workshop and creating an on-site laboratory.

Bespoke Attachment Chain and X³ Roller Chain, which meets the highest standards of quality and performance, is assembled at their UK headquarters.

The unrivalled design of their Universal Attachment Chain, which has the same critical dimensions as other brands, means it can replace 99 per cent of other manufacturer’s chain. Aimed specifically at the distribution market, it provides end-users with a unique ‘one chain fits all’ solution and more choice about their preferred chain supplier.

X³ Chain, which forms part of the Premium Roller Chain range and was launched in the UK in 2022, is also cut to length, and measured & matched in their workshop.

With a UK workshop which includes a chain length measuring machine, pre-loading chain machine, chain matching machine, automatic chain cutting machines and hot dip chain lubrication facilities, Donghua Limited is one of only a few chain manufacturers to boast such technical capabilities direct in the UK.
