Preloading of Chain – to help reduce fatigue and extend the wear life of chain, Donghua’s Timber Chain comes pre-loaded as standard. Chain with little or no pre-load applied will suffer significant elongation during initial use and will need to be changed sooner which means increased down-time.
Matching of Chain – we match our Timber Attachment Chain to within very close tolerances to ensure the attachment links engage with the sprockets together thereby eliminating undue stress which is a major cause of fatigue failures on attachments.
Hot Dip Lubrication – our Timber Attachment Chain is hot-dipped and we are the only UK manufacturer to have our own hot-dip facilities. Hot dipping allows penetration into areas standard lube spraying does not reach. As the lubricant cools, deposits remain inside the chain providing ultimate lubrication.
Chrome surface coating – adding a chrome surface coating extends the wear life of chain.
Sharp Top Chain: our Sharp Top Chain, commonly known as saw tooth chain, is available with next day delivery throughout the UK mainland.
CP Chain: Chromized Pin (CP) Chain offers increased wear life five times that of standard Roller Chain. It is designed with a chromized pin and a split bush. Adding a chrome surface coating results in super hard pins which extend the wear life of the chain.
X3 Chain: a high performance Roller Chain that lasts three times longer than similar competitor chain.
