Automatic Chain Cutting Facilities Expanded

Donghua Ltd, a leading manufacturer of industrial chains, announces the installation of a new automatic cutting machine at its manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton. This additional machine marks a significant expansion of their existing chain cutting capabilities, and will specifically be used for the cutting of leaf chains and producing extended pin chains.

The second state-of-the-art machine was installed in June and will shortly be followed by a further two machines. Each machine will be dedicated to the cutting of a specific range of chain.

With the additional machine, Donghua can offer faster turnaround times for cut to length chain. Both machines’ precision cutting capabilities ensure that each chain meets the stringent quality standards Donghua customers have come to expect.

The first automatic chain cutting machine was installed in their Wolverhampton facilities in spring 2023 and is one of its kind in the UK. Designed for speed and accuracy, the machines cut chain very quickly providing customers with a cost-effective solution to buying cut to length chain. Feeding the chain cutting machines has now been automated following the installation of a crane in spring 2024.
